A Prefeitura de Guarulhos promoverá uma ação especial de vacinação contra a covid-19 com a abertura de 44 Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS) em dois dias, sendo 36 no sábado (26) e oito na segunda-feira (28), ponto facultativo e véspera de Carnaval. Em ambos os dias as unidades estarão abertas das 8h às 16h exclusivamente para vacinação contra a covid-19. A estratégia visa a ampliar o acesso à vacina para as crianças maiores de cinco anos e para quem está com uma das doses atrasadas.
No sábado as UBS abertas são Paraventi, Flor da Montanha, Cecap, Vila Barros, Cavadas, Itapegica, Tranquilidade, Jardim Vila Galvão, Vila Galvão, Rosa de França, Paulista, Cambará, Recreio São Jorge, Cabuçu, Acácio, Primavera, Taboão, Santa Lídia, Jovaia, Morros, Bananal, Seródio, Carmela, Bambi, Presidente Dutra, Marinópolis, Lavras, Santa Paula, Pimentas, Marcos Freire, Cummins, Cumbica (Mário Luiz Macca), Parque Jandaia, Normandia, Jardim Cumbica II e Santo Afonso.

Já na segunda-feira estarão em funcionamento as UBS São Ricardo, Vila Fátima, Belvedere, Palmira, Inocoop, Haroldo Veloso, Jacy e Piratininga. Os endereços das unidades podem ser consultados em bit.ly/EndereçosUBSGru e para se vacinar basta apresentar documento original com foto, cartão SUS (se tiver), CPF e comprovante de residência em Guarulhos.
Até as 9h desta quarta-feira (23) a cidade registrava 65.227 faltosos da segunda dose, sendo a faixa etária de 20 a 29 anos a menos vacinada, com 20.893 pessoas com a dose atrasada. Além disso, 355.444 pessoas que já poderiam estar com a dose de reforço no braço ainda não compareceram à UBS para se imunizar, sendo os adultos entre 30 e 39 anos a maior faixa etária com a dose em atraso (98.824 pessoas).
